Craigslist has been a reliable source for finding garage sales. A subreddit to help you keep up to date with what's going on with reddit and other stuff. I swear by craigslist for everything, but it requires attention to detail and caution. Idk what you call shady but i've seen shady shit in craigslist while facebook is heavily auto moderated (probably too much cuz it always sets false positives and ban people for dumb reasons).
