As part of this, i want to change my middle name, katherine, to something that reads more masculine. Usually it’s a nickname for katherine/kaitlin/kathleen (i’m a [name_f]katherine [/name_f] myself!) i wouldn’t consider it dated by any means, but i’m. Hard to find an original combo that is not too old fashioned or stereotypical.

I would like her sister to have an equally formal name and an equally cute nickname. Kit is my favorite nickname for catherine but catherine is definitely my favorite spelling. I’m attached to the name, as it is a family name, and want to continue to honor it.
