I prefer [name]elaine [/name] or [name]helena [/name]. My dad’s name is [name_m]alan [/name_m], so i always thought i would use [name_f]alana [/name_f] for… So, my middle name is my paternal grandfather’s name, and i always thought i would do the same thing with my first child.
Can you help me think of some names that could/would easily shorten to [name_f]ally[/name_f]? I think i have finally narrowed it down to 2 names for my daughter. We have a little girl named [name]alana[/name] and she is having a baby sister.
We [name]love[/name] the name [name]adriana[/name], but it is awfully close to [name]alana[/name]. I need some naming advice!!! My husband and i can’t seem to agree on any names and thus don’t. The only drawback i can see is that [name]alana [/name] [name]thompson [/name] is reality child star [name]honey [/name] boo boo’s real name so it may be considered “downmarket” for lack of a better term.
It’s between [name]elena [/name] and [name]alina [/name]. She will mostly go by lana. There are several other names i really like, but i have concerns about all of them: [name]sariah[/name] (i think this spelling looks too much like [name]mariah[/name], but [name]soraya[/name] isn’t as nice looking).
I am not terribly bothered by the similiarity, but would love some feedback. Is there a “correct” or “original” way to spell [name]elaina [/name]/ [name]elena [/name]/ [name]alaina [/name]/ [name]alayna [/name],etc??? Other names we like are [name]sierra[/name] (probably the front runner after. I don’t care for [name_u]allison[/name_u] and while i like [name_f]adeline[/name_f] i can see that turning into [name_f]addy[/name_f] whether or not i like it.
