We [name]love[/name] the name [name]adriana[/name], but it is awfully close to [name]alana[/name]. [name]sariah[/name] (i think this spelling looks too much like [name]mariah[/name], but [name]soraya[/name] isn’t as nice looking). Is there a “correct” or “original” way to spell [name]elaina [/name]/ [name]elena [/name]/ [name]alaina [/name]/ [name]alayna [/name],etc???
We have a little girl named [name]alana[/name] and she is having a baby sister. It’s between [name]elena [/name] and [name]alina [/name]. My dad’s name is [name_m]alan [/name_m], so i always thought i would use [name_f]alana [/name_f] for…
While i’m usually not a fan of extra letters in names, i prefer the spelling [name]alanna[/name] over [name]alana[/name] because i feel like it looks more complete, and also i have an aunt with “[name]ann[/name]” in her name and i feel like it’s a way to honor her somehow. I prefer [name]elaine [/name] or [name]helena [/name]. I need some naming advice!!! I think i have finally narrowed it down to 2 names for my daughter.
I am not terribly bothered by the similiarity, but would love some feedback. There are several other names i really like, but i have concerns about all of them: I love the name [name]alana[/name], but a good friend of mine named her daughter that, and i know it would cause problems if i did the same. She will mostly go by lana.
So, my middle name is my paternal grandfather’s name, and i always thought i would do the same thing with my first child. Other names we like are [name]sierra[/name] (probably the front runner after. My husband and i can’t seem to agree on any names and thus don’t. The only drawback i can see is that [name]alana [/name] [name]thompson [/name] is reality child star [name]honey [/name] boo boo’s real name so it may be considered “downmarket” for lack of a better term.
