The problem is the 3rd monitor only reflects what's on the 2nd display and the computer only gives options to… I have 2 monitors attached, but i am not able to figure out the way to extend the monitor on 2nd display. Scroll down and click detect under multiple displays to prompt your laptop to detect the connected monitors.
After extending your monitor, you will notice the display settings will present additional options for working with multiple monitors. Or you can search for cast in the windows search bar, then select connect to a wireless display. Select one of the detected monitors, then scroll down to multiple displays and choose extend desktop to this display.
On the pc you’re projecting from, select windows logo key + k and select the pc you’d like to connect to. One monitor is built into my laptop, one is connected via the laptop's hdmi port, and the third is connected via a usb to hdmi extender. All 3 monitors are recognized when i go into display setting, and i can see my desktop on all three monitors.
So what can i use instead of a splitter to detect the monitors. I use a dual splitter for hdmi connection, but for the third and 4th monitors it only extend the second one and doesnt detect anymore than that.
