Pacman is an open source package manager, famously used in arch, msys2, etc. Can you also file a feedback hub report (windows key + f) under the apps > windows subsystem for android category? Have the same problem tried different apps left the wsa and wsa pacman apps open and tried but install is always greyed out pls help
I'm going into this blindly, go easy on me if i make rookie mistakes. If you trust your windows pc there's no reason not to trust wsa. What version of wsa are you using?
This pretty frustrating because now i have a device that it's primary purpose is no longer possible. That will provide additional logging which we can use to track down issues like this. I use a lot of reading apps on my surface pro laptop, which is excellent and the main reason why i bought a surface to begin with. Yeah got it fixed had to disable advanced network on wsa settings.
I made my way around the connection errors, and everything works with developer mode/settings (i think). Adb connect can connect fine. Wsa developer mode is turned on, in order to use wsa pacman. It is merely an emulation layer (not exactly but close enough) with some slightly modified by microsoft android.
Wsa pacman, wsa helper, smart drawer, mixplorer, alpha backup pro (because at the time i tried the free migrate app it couldn't backup the apps but it's been a while). I've had the wsa pacman app installed too but i haven't been using it for a while now (during that time i've installed & uninstalled, upgraded etc my wsa stuff a few times). And when i wanted to install an app via double clicking on the.apk file the firewall window popped up. Furthermore, i also downloaded wsa pacman, because i wanted to download any and all apks.
I downloaded wsa from mustard chef's github, since i wanted the google play store. Then virtwifi started showing in pacman ( third party lib for sideloading apks) but then internet was not working. What are other other alternatives to wsa that work as smooth? The mustard chef repo is used by a decent amount of people and likely as a basic amount scrutinization for not having malicious code in it.
How did you make it accept apks?
