My problem is the same as many others i have seen listed. I would like to control my laptop fan speed. Use your laptop on a hard, flat surface to ensure good airflow.
Consider undervolting the cpu undervolting reduces the voltage supplied to the cpu, lowering heat generation and fan. If you're comfortable, open the laptop (following hp's disassembly guidelines) to clean internal components. Entra nel forum dell'inter per parlare con i tifosi neroazzurri
Use compressed air to clean the fans and vents. Power cord is fine, f10 will not start bios. Use compressed air to gently clean the vents and fans. Dust buildup can hinder fan performance.
Gaming laptops are designed for high performance and tend to have more aggressive cooling settings to prevent overheating. Have tried all fixes listed. Pc was working fine all these years, suddenly went to turn it on and loud fan noise, blank screen, pc won't boot. Any solutions on how to reconfigure them to work normally again?
The noise is fixed now, but there's another issue my fans are running at full speed, and i can't control them using thermal control. Took off back, cleaned fans, redid thermal paste. The pc has clean fans and coolers, nothing is obstructing them. If you're comfortable disassembling your laptop, reapplying thermal paste to the cpu and gpu can improve heat transfer.
I have tried reinstalling the full os thinking it was a shoftwer issue, butr this didn't change the problem.
