However, the zoo is claiming that they are either private property, an amusement park. Interesting, the zoo states that saint louis zoo’s mission includes animal conservation, research, education, recreation and amusement. here is saint louis zoo’s mission statement: Hogan must respond to those assertions, which include claims that the zoo is an educational facility, a childcare facility, an amusement park, and a business open to the public.
Looks like a private organization. I cc'd, but wondered if they allow oc or if any of you have oc'd there. Because of this, concealed and open carry cannot be banned per state law.
:) please help by posting all issues here. In addition we are also on new forum software. Imported post the family and i went to woodland park zoo the other day(the day after the monkey escaped). Louis city assessor maps do not show the parcel boundaries of the zoo property itself, just showing forest park as one big area.
Any move entails a lot of technical details and i suspect we will encounter a few issues as the new server goes live. We are arguing that the zoo is public property, no different than a sidewalk in the city. The purpose of this thread is manifold: As observed earlier, woodland park zoo is owned by the city of seattle (see woodland park zoo management paragraph) and is, therefore, probably subject to preemption by rcw 9.41.270.
It will be worth it! Let me see if i am understanding correctly. It is absolutely impossible for citizens, without specialized knowledge and researching of land records, to determine the boundaries of the property to which the order applies. if it's necessary to have a ccw permit/license in order to do so, please say state that this is the case.
