Anyone have any fresh experience with looking for retention or loyalty deals? I'm considering whether to call up and raise a ruckus just to see if i can hold the fort on the increases.going back through the bills there was a notification of a price increase in december's bill so.i was notified. Hey i'm wanting to try and call into bell to get a deal.
The player does default to 360p, but i've seen youtube do that on 1.5 gb fiber, so inconclusive whether it was an attempt from bell to limit the quality. If nothing else it will hopefully serve as a cautionary tale of limited time discounts. Non stop data issues and usually have 1 bar.
Virgin plus is a subsidiary of bell, like toyota & lexus. Bell is more geared towards high end, latest, greatest, amd fastest, while virgin is more budget friendly (in most cases). Bell has good coverage in eastern canada, but where i am in rural british columbia, i already regret having switched from telus and it’s been 2 months. I have a plan with bell that specifies sd streaming only, but i can stream youtube at 1080p just fine.
Background my condo negotiated a deal with bell for a fibe internet & tv bundle for all residents — $50/month. Setting resolution to higher will result in buffering. Bell offers 5g, while virgin uses 4g lte / hspa+ i'd recommend going with their prepaid service (lucky mobile), then going to bell store or a virgin kiosk 30 days later.
